Ideological and political construction of the curriculum is a strategic measure to implement the fundamental task of moral education. This paper takes "Marine meteorology and oceanography" course“ocean current” section as a teaching case, and explore the course of navigation professional course ideological construction, in order to implement the Ministry of Education on curriculum ideological construction requirements and the school requirements for talent training. First of all, the research comprehensively considers the professional training objectives, the teaching objectives and the ideological and political construction objectives of the curriculum and oceanology are set, and the implementation principles of ideological and political construction of the curriculum are determined. In the actual teaching case, according to the teaching knowledge, the ideological and political elements and integration points are further determined, and the process of integrating ideological and political elements into teaching is introduced in detail. The after-class feedback shows that the ideological and political elements are organically integrated into professional knowledge, and the classroom effect is also improved; finally, the research shares some understanding about the ideological and political construction of the course. Through the ideological and political teaching practice of this course, it is shown that the ideological and political elements rooted in professional knowledge, through reasonable teaching organization, can form a synergistic effect with ideological and political education, so as to achieve better teaching and education effect.
